Based on the input received from Pakistan, the CBI has sent two persons to Hyderabad. Apart from this, the CBI has arrested one accused from Delhi. The three youngsters are accused of influencing the outcome of the match by fixing in IPL 2022.

The CBI has named Dilip Kumar, a resident of Rohini in Delhi, Gurram Vasu and Gurram Satish from Hyderabad as its priority accused. Regarding the case, CBI officials said that the racket has been active since 2013.

Giving further details, CBI officials said that the bookies may have opened bank accounts through fake IDs and KYCs for match-fixing so that people sitting abroad could send betting money into them.

Earlier in the IPL, there was a lot of fuss over match-fixing. In which the names of three players of Rajasthan Royals were mentioned. Apart from this, many people associated with Rajasthan and Chennai Super Kings were also involved. Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings were also banned from the IPL for two seasons.
