Cheating with Indian women’s hockey team in CWG 2022 semi-finals

In fact, in the semi-final match, both the teams were tied against each other till full-time. After this the match was going to be decided by penalty shootout. Here the Indian team had to bear the loss of the official mistake.

Team India captain and goalkeeper Savita Punia saved the first penalty shootout. Immediately afterwards the umpire stated that the clock had not started during the shot. So Australia will get a chance to strike first again. This is where the course of the match changed. After this, the players of the Indian team could not score a single goal. Australia scored three goals in all three attempts. The way Team India got out of the semi-finals, the fans are furious.
