Corona-like spread of monkeypox virus, 20 countries in the world under JD, India took these steps

Global report on monkeypox virus: Outbreaks of the corona virus have led to a new virus in the world’s struggle to make people sick. The monkeypox virus has caused panic in many countries around the world as the virus is now spreading rapidly. Monkeypox is an old virus, but it has been spreading rapidly around the world since its first patient was found a few days ago. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), it has spread to 20 countries and caught 200 people. Of these, 106 cases are suspicious. In all of this, the reassuring news is that not a single patient with the virus has been found in India and full vigilance is being exercised.

The World Health Organization says that in countries where cases of the monkeypox virus have been found, its appearance has not changed. This means that the countries in which the virus originated and the countries in which the virus has spread are similar. No change was found in its appearance. The World Health Organization (WHO) has issued stern instructions to those countries where the virus has not spread.

The virus spreads like a corona

“We have the opportunity to prevent the spread of monkeypox,” said Sylvie Bryand, director of the WHO Working Group on Global Infectious Diseases. With the right measures in place, it can be curtailed at the local level. He said the virus could spread like the corona virus, although he also said it spreads at a slower rate. There is currently no need for large-scale vaccinations, but vaccinations should be given at the site of infection. Rosamund Lewis, head of the WHO’s smallpox secretariat, said the most effective measures would be to test for infected people, monitor their contacts and isolate them at home.

Monkeypox has been confirmed in these countries

The United States has confirmed nine cases of monkeypox. In addition to the US, cases of monkeypox have been reported in some non-native countries, including Britain, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Australia, Canada, Austria, Israel and Switzerland. The European Union has confirmed 118 cases of monkeypox. Britain has confirmed 90 cases. 51 and 37 cases have been confirmed in Spain and Portugal. In Canada, 16 cases have been confirmed.

There is no case in India, be careful: ICMR

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has said that India is fully prepared to deal with the disease and so far no patient has been found in the country. “Our preparations are complete,” said ICMR scientist Dr Aparna Mukherjee. ICMR has issued guidelines to prevent this. He advised people coming from monkeypox-affected countries to take special precautions.

Meanwhile, the good news is that an Indian private healthcare company has announced the development of a real-time RT PCR kit to detect the monkeypox virus.

India developed the RT-PCR kit to detect monkeypox

Indian private healthcare equipment company Trivitron Healthcare on Friday announced the development of a real-time RT-PCR kit to detect monkeypox. Trivitron’s MonkeyPox Real Time PCR Kit is a four color fluorescence based kit. This kit can differentiate between chickenpox and monkeypox in the tube. The company says it takes 1 hour. In an RT-PCR kit based on four genes, the first detects viruses in the broad orthopox group, the second and third isolates monkeypox and smallpox viruses.
