Cricket Australia could lift life ban on David Warner

Big news has come out about Australia’s star batsman David Warner. Cricket Australia is looking to comfort David Warner. Cricket Australia has called a meeting to review the leadership ban imposed on David Warner. Cricket Australia has banned David Warner following a ball tampering scandal.

Australian media have expressed hope that the leadership ban on David Warner will be lifted. According to Australian media reports, Cricket Australia is considering lifting the ban on David Warner.

David Warner was found guilty of ball tampering with Bancroft and Steve Smith in the 2018 match against South Africa. Cricket Australia then banned David Warner and Steve Smith for a year. Cricket Australia has made it clear that David Warner will not be given a vice-captaincy in the future. Steve Smith was banned for two years.

Smith became vice-captain last year

Steve Smith’s ban ended in March 2020. But even then, Cricket Australia did not consider re-appointing Steve Smith as captain. Cricket Australia, however, appointed Steve Smith as the vice-captain of the Test team last year.

But now Cricket Australia’s new move is pointing to a big change in the team. Finch, the captain of the limited overs team, did not perform as expected. It could also be that Warner will be in charge of the team at this year’s T20 World Cup.
