Android 13: With what new features it comes with, the Android 13 update includes new permissions settings that allow you to manage which apps send you notifications. This includes improved permission settings for sharing with nearby devices. It includes the all-new ‘Material U’ design language element, which lets you customize the color of the app icon’s color theme and select pre-app text, among other things.
It also comes with good controls for privacy and security. For example, with Android 13, you’ll be able to choose between ‘Photos and videos’, ‘Music and audio’ when the app asks you permission to access files. Previously it was limited to ‘files and media’ which provided access to the entire internal storage. Android 13 brings more multitasking options, not just for smartphones but for tablets. It also comes with a new updated taskbar that lets you easily switch between apps as well as use two apps side by side in a split-screen view. Users can drop any app from the library on their favorite home screen.
