IPL 2022 Orange and Purple Cap: The Purple Cap race in IPL 2022 has been very interesting. The race is between Rajasthan Royals spinner Yujvendra Chahal and Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Vanindu Hasaranga. Both the spinners have taken 26-26 wickets this season. Now that RCB’s journey is over, Chahal has a chance to win the Purple Cap by taking a wicket in the final.
If he can’t take a wicket in this match, then based on his excellent bowling average, Vanindu Hasaranga will have a purple cap on his head.
